What's in my Wish List: Twinkle Toes

Ancient Greek legend has it that Hermes, the winged messenger of the Gods, wore winged sandals called ‘Talaria’ which flew as swift as any bird, and were crafted from imperishable gold.

For a modern day update, in champagne hues and sheer mesh, these Aperlai Paris stilettos surely have enough golden glitter and show stopping glamour to make all of Olympia jealous and they have gone straight into my wish list at My-Wardrobe.

Aperlai Paris: Spokette Glitter Stilettos, £465.00

  1. What Hermes winged sandals represent? Hermes wore winged sandals because he was supposed to be a messenger. The winged sandals suggest. What is the name of the winged sandals that Hermes wore?
